All Dead On Eagle� hammers are manufactured to superior specifications. First the heads are drop forged. Then they are induction heat-treated and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of over 50. Finally, the hammers are polished to a mirror-like finish, and then matched to the finest hickory handle available. One look at the way all our Eagle Hammers are manufactured and finished, and you too will be convinced that there's really no other tool quite like a Dead On Eagle�
